The newly appointed Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has received congratulations from the Overlord of Dagbon N-dan Yaa Naa Abubakari II.
In a statement, the king remarked, “The Gbewaa Palace wishes to extend His Royal Majesty’s, Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari Il profound congratulations to you for your appointment as the Minister of Finance for our beloved nation, Ghana.”
In a statement, the Lion King through his Secretary said that his nomination as Ghana’s finance minister is a sign of hope for the country’s economic development.
The message went on, “Your elevation to this crucial position is not only a testament to your dedication and exemplary leadership, but also a beacon of hope for the economic prosperity of our country.”
The minister, who also serves as the Northern Region’s Member of Parliament (MP) for the Karaga constituency, has the trust of the King of Dagbon.
“Your proven track record of dedication to public service and your deep comprehension of fiscal matters instill confidence in your ability to skillfully and honorably navigate the complexities of our nation’s finances,” he continued.

So, assuring the minister of his complete backing to help him succeed in his new position.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo moved Dr. Mohammed Amin Anta to the Ministry of Finance as part of his first ministerial reshuffle.
Prior to being promoted, the Karaga legislator served as the Ministry of Finance’s Minister of State.
