In a recently leaked audio, the late Dr. Grace Boadu, former CEO of Gift Herbal Hospital, disclosed details suggesting that her tragic demise might have been avoidable.
According to the recording, Dr. Boadu faced significant challenges after opting for in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive twins. She disclosed that although her fiancé, Pastor Kingsley, was not the biological father of the twins, he was supportive and willing to prioritize her well-being.
However, Dr. Boadu detailed the mistreatment she endured from her partner, a Lieutenant in the military, which endangered her life. Tragically, she suffered a miscarriage during her seventh month of pregnancy due to the alleged physical abuse, resulting in the loss of her twins and complications like a blood clot that further endangered her health.
The account painted a grim picture of her ordeal, including the emotional strain of having to bid farewell to her employees while undergoing treatment, underscoring the severity of her situation.
“My abdomen felt like hardened tar. The doctors cautioned me about the severity of my condition, warning that my life was at risk. I had only three months until my due date.
“So when the soldier kept harassing me, it affected the children’s development. Complications arose, prompting my mother to summon Prophet Kingsley Gyamfi for assistance.
The soldier had fled upon learning of my dire situation. Before heading to the operating room, Boakye arrived, and everyone gathered to bid their farewells, fearing I might not survive. Shockingly, the soldier neglected to inform Boakye about my critical condition,” she recounted.[tps_footer][/tps_footer]
