Ghana’s Dancehall sensation, Shatta Wale, recently shared heartfelt gratitude towards his manager, Sammy Flex, highlighting their exceptional bond in the industry.
During a candid conversation on Onua Showbiz, Shatta Wale opened up about his past experiences with managers and emphasized the unparalleled synergy he shares with Sammy Flex. Unlike previous arrangements fraught with conflicting visions, Shatta Wale lauded Sammy Flex for aligning seamlessly with his artistic aspirations.
Shatta Wale emphasized that Sammy Flex stands out by actively listening to his needs as an artist, ensuring a harmonious partnership where his creative vision is respected and supported.
“Sammy Flex is the Moses for the Shatta Movement. He is just listening to me and I love that. I want to commend him for being patient and following what is happening. All the managers I have worked with, if I say I want Gari, they will give me chicken,” he said to the host, Nana Kwame Gyan.
“A manager who comes into your life and tries to control you as an established artiste, that is where I have issues with most people who come into my life. I will say Kudos to him [Sammy Flex]…I like people who want to follow,” he added.
Shatta Wale broke his silence for the first time since dropping his latest album, ‘KONEKT,’ earlier this month. Highlighting his tumultuous past with former managers, he revealed a significant gap in representation until he welcomed Sammy Flex into his team, marking a pivotal moment in his career trajectory.
